Barry A. Gans

On January 11, 2017, Barry Ashley Gans transitioned from this life, after diabetic complications to be with the Lord. Barry was born in Orange, TX on December 1, 1950 to Laura V. and Matthew D. Gans.

Funeral services for Barry will be held on Thursday, January 19, at Salem United Methodist Church. A public visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. before the service.

Barry was preceded in death by both his mother and father Laura and Matthew D. Gans of Orange, TX and his brother, Matthew D. Gans Jr., both leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Andrea Gans of Port Arthur, his granddaughter Camryn Gans of Port Arthur, his sisters Alice (Thomas) Norwood of Orange, TX and Elaine (Samuel) Thompson of Orange, TX. HE also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be under the direction of Geter Funeral Home.
