Alec Wayne Willett, Sr

Alec Wayne Willett, Sr., 56, passed away on October 30, 2017, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

 Born in Beaumont, Texas, on December 29, 1961, he was the son of Wayne Willett and Joan (Wilson) Alba. Alec loved his job as a truck driver and enjoyed spending time fishing. He was a devoted father and husband and had a great sense of humor. Alec was a remarkable man and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.  

 He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Willett; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Willett; his mother, Joan Alba and husband Roy Alba; sons, Alec Willett, Jr. and Aaron Willett; brother, Richard Willett and wife Judy; sister-in-law, Pearl Phillips-Dupree and husband Dwayne; uncle, L.W. Wilson; nephew, Timothy Phillips, Jr.; and close friends, Georgie Stewart and Darren Stewart.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Jack Comer of Circle Drive Baptist Church in Bridge City, Texas.

Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m.
