James R. “Jim” Stark

James R. “Jim” Stark, 79, of Buna died Friday, June 15, 2018 at his home.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, June 28, at First Baptist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Sunday at the church.
A native of Orange, he had lived in Buna 52 years and was a retired rigger for DuPont Orange.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Stark of Buna; children, Jonan Menard and Jessie; Jamie Childress and Jack; and Bigun Stark and Julie, all of Buna; 2 brothers, Jerry Stark of LaGrange and Carey Don Stark of Orange; a sister, Babette Harris of Orange; 7 grandchildren, Clay Menard, Lori Fry, Mitch Childress, Kyle Childress, Chase Burnett, Garrett Stark and Logan Nance; and 7 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Stark; first wife, Zemma Stark; son, William Stark; and sister, Gwen Strickland.
