PRESS RELEASE — On October 09, 2019, at 7:55 P.M., officers were dispatched to 3024 N. 16^th Street, Dollar General, in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the store employees. The suspect was described as a black male, of medium to dark complexion, wearing a black hooded jacket, with part of the jacket covering his face. Store employees advised the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money. The store employee turned over an undetermined amount of money to the suspect, who then left the building in an unknown direction of travel. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
