Why, God? Why?

There is a major passage of Scripture declaring that there is absolutely nothing that can separate one of God’s children from Him. If you have been born again, that is, born into the family of God, there is nothing that will ever separate you from Him. His love will always be in and over you all the way to heaven.  It is a heavenly canopy of HIs love that Satan, hell, the world nor anything else cannot diminish and take away.

Romans 8:31-39 “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So, as to where He is in your life if you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior, He is always there loving you, when life in the world is often not so loving.

Now, let’s look at the “good, bad and ugly” of life in this world with a world of life circumstances challenging us to tears and fear at times…even shaking our faith at times.

Paul says the “good, bad and ugly” as a child of God will always work to your good.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

The lost world, those outside Jesus Christ, cannot boast that.  Their bad is going to remain and end bad because they don’t have God working for them under His canopy of love in Christ.

But why, God? Why?

First Peter 1:6-7 “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
