The City of Vidor Police Department responded to the following calls from July 10 – July 16, 2019:

 

Wednesday, July 10

  • Threat at the 3000 block of East Railroad
  • Suspicious activity at the 900 block of Harvey Lane
  • Stolen vehicle at the 200 block of Timberlane Street
  • Stolen property at the 100 block of Pine Shadows
  • Disturbance at the 100 block of Lynwood Street
  • Burglary at the 1900 block of Interstate 10
  • Suspicious person on South Archie
  • Animal attack at the 1100 block of Old Spanish Trail. A person reported hearing a woman scream and bit by a dog. The person told police she ran into the yard and fell down but was not bitten by the dog.
  • Disturbance at the 300 block of Old 90

 

Thursday, July 11

  • Burglary at the 200 block of Moreland Street
  • Disturbance at the 200 block of Beach Street
  • Suspicious activity at the 200 block of Moreland Street
  • Recovery of stolen property at the 500 block of West Freeway
  • Suspicious activity on Harvey Lane
  • Suspicious person on Railroad 
  • Threat at the 500 block of West Lindberg Street
  • Traffic collision at near Interstate 10 eastbound feeder and farm to Market Road 1135
  • Disturbance at the 700 block of West Railroad
  • Theft at the 400 block of Hickory Lane
  • Suspicious activity near Stadium and University

 

Friday, July 12

  • Runaway at the 1000 block of Pinecrest Street
  • Traffic hazard at the 1700 block of Dogwood Drive. A tress was across the roadway.

 

Saturday, July 13

  • Missing person at the 800 block of Postoak Street
  • Theft at Country Corner. An air conditioning unit was reported stolen.
  • Trespassing at the 1100 block of North Main Street
  • Suspicious vehicle near Mulberry and Lyndale
  • Disturbance at the 300 block of West Bolivar

 

Sunday, July 14

  • Suspicious activity near Heritage and Orange 
  • Animal call at the 2300 block of Old Spanish Trail. Baby pigs were reported at an abandoned house. 
  • Stolen property at the 700 block of Park Street
  • Juvenile problem at the 4600 block of State Hwy. 12
  • Suspicious person at the 400 block of Byrd Street
  • Traffic stop at Vidor Flea Market. A male was taken into custody for failure to ID and possession.
  • Suspicious activity at the 100 block of East Lindberg Street

 

Monday, July 15

  • Sexual assault in the Vidor area.
  • Suspicious person at the 300 block of East Bolivar Street
  • Suspicious person at the 600 block of Evangeline Drive
  • Animal call at the 100 block of North Main Street
  • Suspicious person at the 1800 block of North Main Street
  • Assault at the 2500 block of Caney Creek Road
  • Weapons offense at the 2500 block of Caney Creek Road
  • Suspicious person at the 300 block of East Bolivar Street
  • Trespassing at the 1600 block of Dogwood Drive
  • Theft at the 1000 block of White Oak Drive

 

Tuesday, July 16

  • Suspicious person at the 800 block of North Main
  • Suspicious activity at the 400 block of Old Spanish Trail
