Man arrested during search warrant

PRESS RELEASE — On Monday June 3rd, 2019 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office along with Investigators with the City of Orange Police Department and West Orange Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence located at 3010 Tanglewood, Orange, Texas.

During the search of the residence investigators located approximately one and a half pounds of hydroponic marihuana, 21 pints of promethazine cough syrup, hydrocodone tablets and Xanax tablets.

The resident, a 30 year old showing an address out of Bridge City, was identified as Tlandius XXavier Caldwell and was found to be in possession of a 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

Caldwell was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of marijuana a state jail felony, $5,000 bond; possession of a controlled substance PG3 a first degree felony, $125,000 bond; and unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon a 3rd degree felony, $15,000 bond.

Caldwell was found to be on parole and had an ankle monitor on at the time of the arrest.  A parole warrant was issued for Caldwell as well with no bond.

Caldwell remains incarcerated.
