Hope everyone had a great 4^th. Let’s see what’s going on.

The last couple of month’s we have had 3 complaints’ in the Burkeville area. Seems there is a lady trying to blackmail men. They say she has inappropriate videos of them and wants money. If no money, it goes on the internet. Come on guys, keep our business at home.

There are so many scams on the internet. We can’t mention them all. Please be smart. Don’t cash any checks that are from someone you don’t know. If something sounds too good to be true, let it alone.

We received a report of a shooting victim that was at the hospital in Jasper. The shooting was four days before it was reported. Seems one family member shot another in the leg. Nobody wants charges filed. Hopefully the feud is over.

Recovered a stolen generator and a compressor. Deputy Kite arrested a Deweyville resident on that case. Good job Chris.

We also recovered a stolen boat, motor and trailer that was stolen in Orange County. Good job south end deputies.
