Orange natives release children’s book

Melondy Roberson and Roszella Roberson-Offord joined their talents to create a new childrens book based oon a second grader facing the challenges of bullying.

Melondy Roberson, 29, originally from Orange, is a graduate of the West Orange Stark class of 2006.

Roberson currently resides in Baytown, where she is an elementary teacher who provides intervention and support to students in Special Education programs. Roberson received her Bachelors of Science from Sam Houston State University in Elementary Education. She later obtained her Masters in Educational Technology and School Administration from Lamar University, Beaumont.

In Adriann Takes A Stand, Adriann is a second grader who faces the challenge of a bully. She finds out that she has something within her that is very powerful.

Roszella Roberson-Offord, 31, originally of Orange, is a 2004 graduate of the West Orange Stark.

Roberson-Offord currently resides in Beaumont, where she is an instructional designer for college academic programs.

Roberson-Offord graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with her Bachelors in Family and Consumer Science.

She received her Masters in Educational Technology and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership as well.

Melondy Roberson said she is planning on a book signing in Orange for the book in the near future.
