Two arrested for warrants, evading

In an attempt to stop a vehicle matching the description of an individual that had an outstanding Felony warrant, Vidor police officers were lead on a pursuit at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle in the 100 block of West Freeway by North Archie. At this time, the Trans Am accelerated Northbound on North Archie. The vehicle continued to attempt to elude law-enforcement as it then traveled Southbound on North Main before making its way westbound on Interstate 10.

The vehicle traveled westbound on Interstate 10 until the downtown exit.

The vehicle then made its way back onto Interstate 10 east bound exiting the Claiborne exit turning left onto North Tram. The vehicle finally came to a stop at the dead end of Daniel in rural Orange County.

The front seat passenger and driver exited the vehicle and ran into the woods. Officers later located these individuals in a home near this location.

Two individuals were found and arrested.

Devin Andrews is charged with possession of dangerous drugs warrant, and evading arrest with a motor vehicle.

Rosemary Andrews is charged with a Class B theft bond forfeiture warrant, felony theft warrant, and felony evading.
