Orange Christian Services is (OCS) hosting their 12th Annual Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Sunset Grove Country Club.
OCS serves those in need in Orange County with food, clothing prescriptions and as funds allow, rent and utilities.
OCS is supported by 43 member churches, individuals and grants. The Golf fundraiser is needed to help supplement its mission.
OCS is open Monday thru Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Friday they have reduced hours 10 a.m. until noon.
The volunteers work at four stations, the greeting desk, doing interviews, the pantry, and distributing clothing. The number of clients varies from day to day and season to season.
Ross and Eva Smith have supported OCS as the Title Sponsor for all 12 events.
The Smiths are owners of Axrotex and Sabine River Ford in Orange.
Jim Surber is also co-owner of Sabine River Ford.
