The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from June 8 – June 14, 2016:

 

Wednesday, June 8

  • Controlled substance at the 19000 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange. A person was arrested.
  • Welfare concern at the 1100 block of Central Drive in Vidor.

 

Thursday, June 9

  • Assault at the 5400 block of Church in Orange.
  • Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at an undisclosed location on Cheyenne in Vidor.
  • Theft at the 2700 block of Main in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 3200 block of Brent Drive in Orange. One person was arrested for assault family violence.
  • Suspicious person at the 6600 block of Foxtrot Drive in Orange.

 

Friday, June 10

  • Theft at the 100 block of Oldbury Road in Vidor.
  • Suspicious person at the 6600 block of Foxtrot Drive in Orange.
  • Theft at the 10000 block of Hwy. 12 in Orange.
  • Burglary at the 3100 block of Texas Ave. in Bridge City.
  • Criminal mischief at the 5000 block Mimosa Lane in Orange.
  • Trespassing at the 3200 block of Little Cypress Drive in Orange.
  • Theft at the 6200 block of Burdine Street in Orange.
  • Disturbance at the 2900 block of Farm to Market Road 3247 in Orange.
  • Missing person at the 4200 block of McClelland Drive in Orange. Before the report was completed, the person returned home safe.

 

Saturday, June 11

  • Assault at the 3000 block of Farm to Market Road 3247 in Orange.
  • Assault at the 9800 block of Longleaf Road in Orange.
  • Burglary at the 1900 block of Concord Street in Vidor.
  • Disturbance at the 5400 block of Highlander Street in Orange.
  • Theft at the 2400 block of Joe Lane in Orange. Two bicycles were reported as stolen.
  • Assault at the 1800 block of Limerick in Vidor.

 

Sunday, June 12

  • Disturbance at the 3700 block of Granger Lane in Orange.
  • Theft at the 1400 block of Mohawk in Vidor. An enclosed utility trailer was reported stolen.

 

Monday, June 13

  • Fire at the 4700 block of Old Hwy 87 in Orange. A vehicle fire was reported.
  • Assault at the 900 block of Brookwood Drive in Vidor.

 

Tuesday, June 14

  • Theft at the 200 block of Stephanie Drive in Orange.
  • Recovery of the vehicle near 10th Street and Western Ave. in Orange. During a traffic stop, the vehicle was found to be reported as stolen out of Harris County. The three persons in the vehicle were arrested for various offenses against the State of Texas.
  • Animal nuisance at the 8000 block of Old Hwy. 90 in Orange.
  • Public service at the 4200 block of Buccaneer Street in Vidor. Six puppies were reported as abandoned.
  • Burglary at the 1900 block of Concord Street in Vidor.
  • Burglary at the 8400 block of Interstate 10 in Orange.
  • Animal nuisance at the 2800 block of Call Street in Vidor.
  • Assault of a child in the Orange area. One person was taken into custody and transported to Orange County Jail.
