UPDATE— After preliminary investigations, the shooting death on Cambridge Drive in Orange County appears to be self inflicted.

All evidence will continue to be examined by our Criminal Investigative Division Office as the investigation continues.

PRESS RELEASE — On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, around 7:00 p.m., the Orange County Sheriff’s office received a report of a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 4000 block of Cambridge Dr., Orange, Orange County, Texas.

Upon arrival, Deputies discovered an adult female was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Detectives are currently on scene collecting evidence and witness statements from persons who were present when the shooting incident occurred. No further details are available at this time.
