According to the National Weather Service, another day of scattered showers and storms is possible Monday across Southeast Texas.

There is a Slight Risk for severe weather north of a line from Woodville to Bunkie.

There is a Marginal to Slight Risk for excessive rainfall that could lead to flooding, along and north of Interstate 10.

The pattern remains favorable for primarily damaging microburst winds, with a lesser risk of large hail and isolated tornadoes.

This will be driven mainly by a convective complex organizing across the plains early Monday morning and moving southeast into the area later Monday.

In addition, boundary interactions within the moist and unstable airmass will also support development of showers and storms, and some storms could produce very heavy rainfall and high rainfall rates.
