Texas A&M AgriLife Extension outlines summer camp options for youth

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is gearing up for its youth summer programs.

“We will start the summer with our 8th Annual Michael Hoke Memorial Outdoor Awareness for Kids ages 8-14 Tuesday/June 4 at Claiborne West Park,” Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office Manager Kim Peveto said. “Registration is open on our website, orange.agrilife.org.”

Youth & Adult Hunters Education Classroom Course is offered in June, July and August.

Summer Youth Cooking Camp for youth ages 9-14 is planned June 10-14 (camp if full).

On July 3, Texas A&M AgriLife is offering Youth Canning Class for ages 9 to 14.

July 9-11 is Youth Sewing Camp, ages 9 to 14.

The last camp of the summer is Clover Kids Day Camp ages 5 to 8.

The July camp payments are July 25.
