LITTLE CYPRESS — There is a lot to celebrate following the performances of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School students at the UIL State Academic Meet.
Journalism teacher Lindsey Fruge described it as an “awesome showing.”
The results included:
Raymond Arrington placed third in computer science.
The journalism team of Rayna Christy, Camille Kelly and Gabrielle Moore are the State Runner-Up Journalism Team Champions.
Christy also placed second in copy editing and third in news writing.
Kelly earned third in editorial Writing, and Moore placed fifth in editorial writing.
