The City of Orange is reminding community members of a park closure today (April 17).

Northway Park is scheduled for closure Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The closure is needed, city leaders say, for maintenance work.

A year ago, the City of Orange celebrated Ian Broussard, along with other Boy Scouts of America Troop 23 members, for completing a walk bridge at Northway Park as part of an Eagle Scout project.

“Come take a stroll around the park and enjoy the new bridge,” a city release said at the time. “Thank you to Ian and Troop 23 for your contribution.”
