Katie Guyote earns first place for state conference Personal Care

ORANGEFIELD — Katie Guyote represented Orangefield High School at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals State Conference in Galveston.

She walked away with first place in her event, Personal Care, which includes patient care skills, such as hand washing, vital signs, bed making and transferring patients.

“This is a huge achievement, as this is the first year for the student-led HOSA organization in Orangefield,” a school district release stated.

“Thank you Katie for paving the way for future health professionals in OISD.”
