Texas Department of Transportation outlines numerous Interstate 10 closures for Orange County

The right lane of IH-10 eastbound in Orange County near the Sabine River Bridge is closing Monday night, beginning at 8 p.m.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the lasts until 5 a.m. Tuesday
Expect delays.
Also in Orange County, the outside lane of IH-10 eastbound is closing Tuesday at 8 p.m. and running until 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Contractors are working between the 878 mile-marker (closest cross street is North 10th Street) and Simmons Drive.
Drive cautiously in the area.
TxDOT previously announced the Interstate 10 eastbound entrance ramp east of SH 87 is closing for several months.
The closure was scheduled to begin Monday evening and runs until summer 2024, according to TxDOT.
Motorists traveling northbound on SH 87 from Orange wanting to access IH-10 east will follow a signed detour to the IH-10 westbound frontage road, take the turnaround west of SH 87 and access the entrance ramp.
Motorists traveling southbound on SH 87 from Mauriceville wanting to access IH-10 east will follow a signed detour to the IH-10 westbound frontage road, take the turnaround west of SH 87 and access the entrance ramp.
Motorists traveling on the IH-10 eastbound frontage road will continue east to Simmons Drive and take the turnaround. Traffic will continue westbound on the frontage road where motorists will take the turnaround west of SH 87 and access entrance ramp.
