BRIDGE CITY — Ongoing industrial construction is again temporarily shutting down a major thoroughfare going from Bridge City into West Orange.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, SH 87 northbound from Cow Bayou to 2.5 miles north will close daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6, 7, 8 and 11.

The closures are needed for the safe delivery of heavy haul moves, weather permitting, officials said.
