A disturbance between a couple turned physical recently when the woman allegedly struck the man with a vehicle, Orange Police said.

The altercation was reported at 10:51 a.m. Nov. 27 at 61 Farragut Avenue.

Responding officers with the Orange Police Department spoke to a man and a woman who had been in a dating relationship, according to information from OPD.

Police believe the woman, identified as Aliah Roberts, 28, intentionally struck the man with a vehicle.

She was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault, a second degree felony and taken to the Orange County Jail.

The medical condition of the man was not immediately released.

The City of Orange Criminal Investigation Division is handling the case.

Aliah Roberts’ name was not listed on the inmate roster on Friday.
