Several juveniles who were reportedly in an area where shots were fired Monday are not cooperating with law enforcement.

Police say that includes one who was treated and released from a hospital.

Police in Orange were called at approximately 1 p.m. Monday to the 600 block of Morrell Boulevard in reference to shots fired.

Orange Capt. Jonathan Baggett said, to his knowledge, witnesses they spoke with never saw anyone firing the shots but only heard them.

Officers were able to locate and collect shell casings from the scene.

Police encountered two juveniles on bicycles and one had an injury to his leg. The juvenile with the injury was treated and released from a hospital.

Baggett said the juveniles were not cooperative and the case is not considered active at this time.
