LITTLE CYPRESS — A home near Little Cypress is a total loss following a Tuesday morning fire.

Orange County emergency Services District No. 3 Chief Matt Manshack said the fire occurred at approximately 10 a.m. on Arrow Lane and upon arrival the home was heavily involved with the blaze.

The ordinal report said there might be an occupant inside, but firefighters found the man in the back yard uninjured.

No injuries were reported.

Manshack said the house is a complete loss.

ESD No. 3 had assistance from Bridge City, City of Orange and ESD No. 4.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
