Bridge City set for Strength and Conditioning program that starts Monday

The Bridge City Summer Strength and Conditioning Program will start next Monday and will run each week from Monday to Thursday.

Here is the schedule:

8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. – Incoming 11th-12 grade boys (Big weight room)

10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. – Incoming 7th-12th grade girls (Big weight room)

noon-1:30 p.m. – Incoming 9th-1oth grade boys (Big weight room)

2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. – Incoming 7th-8th grade boys (Big weight room)

Skills Training Schedule:

9 a.m.-10 a.m. – Volleyball (Competition Gym)

1 p.m.-2 p.m. – Girls Basketball (Competition Gym)

2 p.m.-3 p.m. – Boys Basketball (Competition Gym).

Baseball, softball, track and cross country coaches will contact players regarding times.

Guidelines:

All state, local, UIL and CDC guidelines will be followed.

Athletes will be screened and have their temperature taken daily. There will be no access to locker rooms.

Student athletes will be required to bring their own towels and water. Students will use the hand sanitizing stations upon arrival and after each rotation. All equipment will be cleaned by custodial staff after each session.
