PRESS RELEASE — Hope everyone had a good week. Not too bad around here.
Sunday, we got to have church inside the Church. It was so good to get to be around all our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
We recovered a stolen ATV down in Deweyville. It was stolen in Louisiana. Good job Barry.
We ran a search warrant in the Bon Wier area Sunday evening. Most all the drugs were gone when we got there. Charges pending. We have had personnel changes here at the office. Captain Morrow has gone to work in the DA’s office. Our loss is their gain. Also, Deputy Blueitt went to work at Newton P.D. We gonna miss them both. However, they didn’t go far.
Lady was hit on big toe by a pipe wrench. Lady said a man was mad at her and threw the pipe wrench at her. She wants to file charges on him.
We had several calls this week about livestock being on the road. Please check your fences and make sure they are holding your critters in.
Gotta go, have court this morning. Thought for the day “If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.” Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
