Bridge City ISD Parents and Students,
In response to Governor Abbott’s announcement for schools to remain closed through the end of the school year, Bridge City ISD will continue the Flexible Education Program implementation that was incorporated beginning March 23, 2020 in an effort to keep student instruction moving forward. The Flexible Education Program will be extended through May 21, 2020.
As educational leader of BCISD, I am urging all students, parents, and guardians to continue to follow the curriculum provided by BCISD campuses. All students are expected to complete their assigned work through their teachers in order to earn credit for promotion to the next grade level, as well as, meet graduation requirements.
BCISD intends to honor our 2020 graduates at a ceremony. The date, time, and location will be determined as we continue to get guidelines for assemblies of large crowds during this Coronavirus Pandemic.
I will continue to update you as necessary.
Thank you,
Todd Lintzen, Superintendent
