BEAUMONT, Texas – The following information from the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center summarizes activities and developments related to COVID-19 in Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Newton, Orange, and Tyler counties:

 

 

 

 

 

*The April 1st Daily Briefing inaccurately reported a positive for West Orange.  The EOC receives confirmation of positive test results from health department officials in each county.

Total calls received by Call Center – 2,138

  • 141 calls received today
  • 77 were tested at the drive-through site today in Jefferson County
  • 29 were tested at the drive-through site today in Hardin County
