Bears motor past Kountze, 9-1
After defeating Anahuac 8-0 in their first game Thursday at the Orange County Classic, the LC-M Bears came back later in the day and throttled Kountze 9-1.
Reid Peco got the win on the mound, allowing just three hits over 5 1/3 innings and he struck out five. Gage Griffith tossed 2/3 innings of relief to earn the save.
Zach McNeil had two hits, including a home run as the Bears had nine hits in the game.
Zack Krummel and Brett Burrows also had two hits apiece for the Bears.
