WEST ORANGE -The Orangefield Lady Bobcats won two games Saturday to capture the championship of the West Orange-Stark tournament.

Ryden Stanfield went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, an RBI, and 2 runs scored. Joli Ponfick had a hit with an RBI and a run scored. Codie Sorge went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs. Emma Humplik went 1 for 3 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Tiffany Ciancaglione had a double, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Alyssa Dodd went 1 for 3 with a run scored. Olivia Grant went 2 for 2 with a homerun, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound giving up just 2 hits in 4 innings of work.

Codie Sorge got the win on the mound with her 3rd shutout of the weekend. Sorge gave up just 3 hits in 4 innings with 3 strikeouts.

The Lady Bobcats improve their overall record to 17-2 and open district play at home against Buna on Tuesday at 6:00pm.
