CAMERON – The Bridge City Cardinals topped Gateway College Prepatory from Georgetown Friday at the Cameron Yoe Tournament behind a complete-game one-hitter by Payton Havard.

Havard struck out 12 in the nice win.

Logan Hamm and Tanner Wilson had two hits apiece for the six-hit Cardinal attack. Hamm drove in both of the runs.
