LITTLE CYPRESS – On Thursday February 13 the Orangefield Powerlifting team competed in the LC-M Invitational Meet. The Bobcats placed first as a Team in the Boys division.

Individually, finishing first were Dylan Wells ( 880lbs) in the 132-pound class, Austin Taylor (950lbs) in the 148lb class, Clayton Westbrook (1,010lbs) in the 165lb class, Grant Metts (1,235lbs) in the 198lb class, Hunter Ashworth (1,280lbs) in the 220lb class, Santos Garcia (1,480lbs) in the 242lb class. Second- place finishers include Cutler Hubbard in the 198lb class, Kyler Metts in the 242lb class, Coby Coulter in the 275lb class and Gabe Statum in the SHW division.

Finishing in third were Garrison Hughes, Dylan Whitman, Ethan Meads, and Hunter Norwood. Dylan Wells was named outstanding male lifter for the light platform.

In the Girl’s division, finishing first were Linsey Tackett (660lbs) in the 105lb class, Lacey Tackett (765lbs) in the 114lb class and Lyla Boudreaux (380lbs) in the 220lb class. Second- place finishers include Angel Wedgeworth in the 148lb class and Hannah Sullivan in the 259lb class. Makayla Garcia and Jaida Smith placed 3^rd.

Lacey Tackett was named outstanding female lifter on the light platform.
