SILSBEE – The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears dropped a 75-60 District 22-4A decision to the Silsbee Tigers at Tiger Gym Friday night.

Jesse Doucette led the Bears (16-16, 5-6) with 23 points while Da’Marion Morris had 12 points and Jackson Smith added 11.

Braelon Bush led the Tigers (18-13, 9-2) with 30 points.

The Bears will travel to Hamshire-Fannett Tuesday to take on the Longhorns (22-11, 5-6) with playoff implications on the line. The Longhorns stunned Hardin-Jefferson (25-10, 10-2) 40-39 Friday.

There is still a battle for the third and fourth-place playoff berths out of 22-4A with one regular season game remaining with LC-M, H-F and Lumberton in the mix. Lumberton (23-10, 6-5) defeated WO-S (13-21, 2-9) 53-35 Friday. Lumberton will face Silsbee Tuesday.
