Lions soar past Calvary Baptist

The Community Christian Lions hosted a Friday afternoon game against the Calvary Baptist Eagles and walked away with a decisive 55-38 victory.
The Lions outscored the Eagles in the first 21-17, the second 15-7, the third 9-3 and in the fourth the Eagles outscored the Lions 11-10.
The Lions’ shooting guard James Menard led the scoring with 26 points, followed closely by center Levi Rogers, who scored 18. Point guard Bryer Grey rounded out the points with 11.
The Lions’ travel Saturday to Family Christian in Houston to play another important district game at 7:30 pm.
