The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from January 7 – January 20, 2020

Tuesday, Jan. 7

  • Suspicious person at the 6000 block of Morris Road in Mauriceville
  • Disturbance at the 7000 block of State Hwy. 12 in Vidor. A male was arrested for assault.
  • Sexual assault reported in the Vidor area

 

Wednesday, Jan. 8

  • Warrant service in the Orange area

 

Thursday, Jan. 9

  • Theft at the 100 block of Garland Street in Vidor 

 

Friday, Jan. 10

  • Runaway at the 8800 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange
  • Burglary on the 8900 block of Creek Road in Orange 
  • Juvenile problem at the 20000 block of Farm to Market Road 1130 in Orange
  • Runaway at the 5600 block of West Grisby Road in Vidor
  • Threats at the 100 block of Greathouse Road in Vidor
  • Assault on the 6000 block of Ashland Drive in Orange  

 

Saturday, Jan. 11

  • Criminal mischief at the 4400 block of caribou Drive in Orange
  • Burglary of a building on North Main in Vidor 
  • Theft on North Main Road in Vidor 

 

Sunday, Jan. 12

  • Sexual assault reported in the Bridge City area for an incident which occurred in Orange County
  • Assault on the 200 block of Border Street in Orange
  • Assault on the 1200 block of West Circle Drive in Vidor
  • Animal bite was reported at Golden Triangle Emergency Center in Orange.
  • Disturbance at the 3300 block of Martha in Vidor
  • Threats at the 9100 block of Lazy Lane in Orange. One person was arrested for outstanding warrants.

 

Monday, Jan. 13

  • Burglary of a building on the 5700 block of North Main in Vidor  
  • Theft on the 500 block of Farm to Market Road 1136 in Orange
  • Two incidents of disturbance at the 3000 block of Bancroft Road in Orange

Wednesday, Jan. 14

  • Criminal mischief at the 1800 block of Four Oaks Road in Vidor. 
  • Shooting on Idylwood in Vidor. In reference to an accidental shooting involving a pellet rifle.

 

Wednesday, Jan. 15

  • Burglary at the 11000 block of State Highway 12 in Orange  
  • Animal bite at the 10000 block of Farm to Market Road 105 in Orange
  • Assault at the 2800 block of Western Ave. in West Orange for an incident at another location
  • Juvenile problem on North Main in Vidor
  • Burglary of a vehicle at the 4100 block of Meadowlark in Orange

 

Thursday, Jan. 16

  • Theft on the 10000 block of Farm to Market Road 1130 of Orange
  • Sexual assault of a child in Orange County
  • Animal bite at the 1600 block of Aloha Street in Vidor

 

Friday, Jan. 17

  • Threats at the 1100 block of Farm to Market Road 1131 in Vidor.
  • Theft at the 2100 block of Honeysuckle in Orange

 

Saturday, Jan. 18

  • Burglary at the 18000 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange
  • Suspicious person at the 14000 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange. One male was arrested.
  • Stolen vehicle at the 6900 block of Interstate 10 West in Orange
  • Recovery of property at the Pilot Service Station located on State Hwy. 62 in Orange. One person was arrested for pending criminal charges.
  • Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at the 8000 block of Tulane in Orange.
  • Theft on the 400 block of Waterwood Drive in Orange Leader

  • Disturbance at the 4200 block of Saint James Street in Vidor
  • Assault at the 9400 block of Old Hwy. 87
  • Assault on the 1400 block of the Freeway Boulevard West in Rose City
  • Disturbance at the 8600 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange
  • Disturbance at the 7200 block of North Linscomb Road in Vidor
