Two dogs were rescued from a burning house Friday evening in Orange, according to Orange Fire Department Personnel.
Firefighters responded to a reported structure fire at 89 Park Avenue around 6 p.m. Upon arrival on scene, firefighters found a single-story structure on fire, with heavy smoke coming from the structure.
According to the homeowner, a pot left on the stove is what caused the fire.

Three puppies were trapped inside the burning home, the homeowner, along with firefighters were able to pull the puppies from the residence.
The dogs suffered major smoke inhalations from the fire and had to be treated by firefighters.

Orange Fire Personnel worked on the puppies for several minutes treating the injured animals. Two of the dogs slowly regained conscious and the third puppy passed away at the scene.

Shortly after recover efforts, the puppies were running around and reunited with their owner.
The home suffered smoke, fire, and water damage and is not considered a total lost.
