LUMBERTON – The West Orange-Stark Lady Mustangs battled hard Tuesday night but fell to Lumberton 60-54 in District 22-4A action at Raider Gym.

The Lady Mustangs (15-10, 4-3) got behind the Lady Raiders (19-9, 6-1) early and trailed 32-15 at intermission.

WO-S bounced up in the third quarter, outscoring the Lady Raiders 22-7 in the period to get to within 39-37 going into the fourth. The Lady Raiders outscored WO-S 21-17 in the fourth quarter to hold on for the win.

Aniah Henderson had a strong outing for the Lady Mustangs, finishing with 20 points and eight rebounds.

Marlandria Hebert notched a double-double, scoring 10 points and yanking down 12 boards. B’Jne Arvie contributed eight points and nine rebounds while Keshaunia Winbush added eight points and four rebounds.

The Lady Mustangs will play host to Bridge City Friday.
