ORANGEFIELD – The Orangefield Lady Bobcats absorbed their first District 22-3A loss Tuesday night as the fell at Bobcat Gym to the Hardin Lady Hornets 49-46.

The game was tight throughout but the Lady Hornets were able to outscore the Lady Bobcats (16-8, 7-1) 17-12 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.

Faith Fregia led the Lady Bobcats with 17 points and had four rebounds.

Harleigh Rawls pumped in 13 points and snagged eight rebounds. Jacey Bourque had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists while Madison Greenway contributed eight rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats will look to recover Friday when they visit the Kirbyville Lady Wildcats.
