Lady Raiders escape LC-M with 22-4A win

LITTLE CYPRESS – The Lumberton Lady Raiders downed the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears 55-48 in a good District 22-4A battle at LC-M High School Friday night.
Chelsea Perry paced the LC-M (12-7, 1-3) attack with 12 points, six rebounds and three steals against the Lady Raiders (17-9, 4-1).
Zaria Johnson had 11 points for LC-M while Christina Joseph had seven points and a whopping 16 rebounds and Amber Lester contributed six points.
The Lady Bears will visit Bridge City Tuesday.
Bridge City 915-9, 1-3) fell to first-place Hardin-Jefferson (17-8, 4-0) 72-46 Friday.
