KOUNTZE – The Orangefield Lady Bobcats went on the road and snared a tight District 22-3A 41-35 victory over the Kountze Lions at Lions Gym.

Jacey Bourque paced the first-place Lady Bobcats (14-7, 5-0) with 16 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Faith Fregia notched eight points and four steals. Joli Ponfick had seven points.

Harleigh Rawls claimed six points and nine rebounds while Madison Greenway had six rebounds and five steals.

The Lady Bobcats will return home Tuesday to tangle with the Anahuac Lady Panthers.
