PRESS RELEASE — Hope everyone had a safe New Years Eve. Let’s see what’s been going on.

Saturday, we received a call about one man shooting another. They had been feuding for a while. Thank God he was shot with bird shot at about 30 or 40 yards. One went to hospital and the other turned himself in a short time later.

We received a call where a man’s boat was stolen. The boat is a Bass Tracker 170, maroon and gray in color with a 50 horse Mercury motor. Any information would be appreciated.

A man called the SO and said he had a gun stolen. He refused to give his name or address. It was obvious by the recorded line that he was very intoxicated. Maybe he will call back when he has sobered up.

We had 4 four wheelers stolen last week. From one end of the county to the other. Please take the key out and secure them as good as you can. Also, please take down the serial number where you will have it.

Lots of complaints from ex-boyfriends and husbands. Most of them were because of alcohol or drugs.
