The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from December 16 – December 24, 2019:

 

Monday, Dec. 16

• Assault at the Orange County Jail. An inmate spit in an officer’s face.
• Traffic stop at an undisclosed location on State Hwy. 62 in Orange. Two persons were arrested for pending criminal charges.
• Traffic stop at the 18000 block of State Hwy. 62 in Orange. A male was arrested.

 

Tuesday. Dec. 17

• Burglary on Four Oaks Ranch Road in Vidor.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 18

• Burglary at the 100 block of Briarcliff in Vidor.
• Harassment at the 6900 block of Lazy Lane in Orange
• Burglary at the 9800 block of Winlin Drive in Orange.

 

Thursday, Dec. 19

• Assist at the 2000 block of Caney Creek Road in Vidor in reference to a stolen vehicle. A male was arrested.
• Theft at the 200 block of Lauren Road in Orange
• Suspicious circumstances at the 3200 block of Claudia in Orange.

 

Friday, Dec. 20

• Alarm at the 2600 block of North Main in Vidor. The panic alarm was due to a robbery.
• Burglary at the 2400 block of Caney Creek in Vidor
• Burglary at the 4500 block of Revere Lane in Vidor
• Stolen vehicle at the 7900 block of Farm to Market Road 1130 in Orange.
• Suspicious circumstances at the 2100 block of Bancroft Road in Orange.

 

Saturday, Dec. 21

• Traffic arrest at the 8600 block of State Hwy. 87 in Orange. A male was arrested.
• Burglary at the 7700 block of Big Oak Street in Orange.
• Burglary at the 13300 block of State Hwy. 12 in Orange.
• Suspicious vehicle in the area of Claire in Orange.
• Suspicious person at the 8700 block of State Hwy. 887 in Orange.  Female was in the roadway yelling profanities at traffic.

 

Sunday, Dec. 22

• Burglary at the 800 block of Terry Road in Vidor
• Burglary near Terry and Connell. Deputy assisted with a burglary suspect who had fled and was apprehended.
• Criminal mischief at the 4000 block of Revere Lane in Vidor
• Disturbance at the 9600 block of Farm to Market Road in 105 in Orange.
• Suspicious vehicle/illegal dumping at an undisclosed location in Orange County
• Burglary at the 11100 block of Old Hwy. 62 in Orange.
• Disturbance at the 1000 block of Central Drive in Vidor
• Cruelty to animals at the 1700 block of Farm to Market Road 2802 in Vidor
• Disturbance at the 300 block of Pine Shadows in Vidor.

 

Monday, Dec. 23

• Theft at the 5100 block of Farm to Market Road 1006 in Orange.
• Burglary at the 5700 block of Stanton in Orange
• Theft at the 3500 block of Marguerite in Orange
• Theft at the 1200 block of Osteen Road in Vidor

 

Tuesday, Dec. 24

• Assault was reported at St. Elizabeth Hospital for an incident on Lakeview Road in Vidor.
• Burglary at the 200 block of Happy Home Drive in Orange
• Animal bite at the 800 block of Craft Lane in Orange.
