Little Cypress-Mauriceville senior middle blocker Chelsea Perry was recently named Honorable Mention Class 4A All-State on the Texas Sportswriters Association All-State Volleyball Team.

Perry was such a key cog in the Lady Bears’ run this year. LC-M finished the season 29-11 for first-year head coach Rhonda Williams as the Lady Bears advanced to Class 4A Region III quarterfinals in the postseason.

Perry, who was also the Most Valuable Player on the 2019 All-Orange Leader Volleyball Team, wrapped up the season with a whopping 358 kills to go along with 209 digs and 47 aces.

Lumberton middle blocker Brynn Baker also made Honorbale Mention in Class 4A.

In Class 3A, Woodville teammates Emily Mixon and Jayda Argumon also made Honorable Mention.
