My biggest problem is I never do today what I can put off until tomorrow.

Honestly, I think this is the only thing standing between me and global domination.

I can find a way to rationalize putting off almost anything.

Does laundry need to be done today? Well, I can start it at about 6 p.m. and be finished by 10 p.m. I can always fold it tomorrow. 

Is an article due at 1 p.m.?  I bet I can start a 1000 word article at 12:45 p.m. and still have it to my editor with time to spare. 

Speaking of articles, this one is one of those ones that I rationalized that I could procrastinate and put off. This time, it sort of worked out, because it has given to me as a topic to talk about.

I need an intervention on my time management skills.

Is there procrastinators anonymous I can attend?

Something tells me that people have thought about starting one. We just never got around to it. I am sure something big came up.

But, let me, for a thought exercise, practice what I would say. So, I prepared it and delivered it to my dogs in our regular staff meeting.

Hello group, I am Michael and I am a procrastinator.

At this point, Bernie has already lost interest and gone off to find a sunbeam to nap in. Bill is giving me a confused look and Roswell has found a ball and wants me to play with him.

I find myself being easily distracted and not finishing or starting tasks in a timely manner.

At this point, Bill has decided to look out the window, leaving me with Roswell who is looking at me patiently with the ball in his mouth.

I know I should be more on top of my game. I am capable of doing many things, but I pass up on doing great things, however, I become distracted easily…

Roswell at this time was pushing against my leg and looking at me with the ball in his mouth. His hopeful eyes were telling me as interested as he was in what I was telling him, he would rather play ball for a while

I find that I can rationalize putting things off…

Oh well, I guess I can play with Roswell for a little while, How long would it take to finish this article anyway and have it in on time?
