Sandral Griffin, 43, of Beaumont, was arrested for Aggravated Assault for the stabbing of another woman on Monday.

Orange police officers at 1:58 p.m. on Monday were dispatched to the 200 block of College Street in Orange in reference to an assault.

Officers arrived and discovered a black female with a stab wound to her upper chest.  The victim was identified as Danielle Gilbert, 33, of Beaumont.

Gilbert was alert and conscious before transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.  Gilbert was treated and released from the hospital a short time later.
