The LC-M Lady Bears are competing in the Evadale Tournament. They defeated the Liberty JV 67-3 in their first game Thursday. Brittany Wyatt led the Lady Bears with 16 points and had seven rebounds. Chelsea Perry tallied 10 points, swiped seven steals and had four assists. Brielle Butler notched 10 points and Matalyn Hill had nine points.

The Lady Bears turned around and defeated the Liberty varsity 56-12.

Perry had 16 points, nine rebounds and seven steals. Zaria Johnson chimed in with 15 points while Wyatt had eight points, six rebounds and three steals.

 

LC-M boys

The Bears are participating in the Aransas Pass Tournament Thursday through Saturday.

The Bears captured a 49-48 victory over Rockport Fulton in their first game at the Aransas Pass Tournament Thursday. Jesse Doucette led the Bears with 18 points while Jackson Smith added 12 points.

The Bears then fell to host Aransas Pass in their second game 67-49. Jackson Smith led the Bears with 14 points while Jesse Doucette added 12.

In other boys tournament action WO-S is in the Deweyville Tournament. On Thursaday, the Mustangs defeated Liberty 50-46 and fell to Anahuac 38-36. Over at the Nederland Tournament the Vidor Pirates defeated the Bridge City Cardinals 48-43.
