American Red Cross disaster responders continue to provide relief and comfort to Golden Triangle residents as they wait to return home after the recent TPC Plant explosion in Port Neches, Texas.

The Red Cross is working very closely with the entire response community – government agencies, other non-profit groups, faith-based organizations, area businesses and others – to coordinate emergency relief efforts.

The Ford Center shelter remains open in Jefferson county to all affected by the mandatory evacuation zone.

Since November 27, Red Cross workers have provided more than 80 overnight shelter stays
