To The Leader
Grace Lutheran Church, along with the Southeast Texas Model Railroad Club would like to invite you to the National Model Railroad Month Open House at the church on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30 from 10 to 5. Two other layouts will be open during this weekend also: Steve Barkley’s Northern Pacific layout in Beaumont on Friday and Mickey Taylor’s Port Taylor & Pacific layout in Bridge City on both days. Unfortunately, this year, our Lego Train group: Texas Brick Railroad will not be able to join us for the Open House. Look for their return at next year’s Open House. All of these layouts are included in the Houston Fall Tour of Model Railroads. Check out this website for more information.
Come enjoy the magical world of miniature trains, with wonderful scenery and track plans. See the buildings and towns as the trains run through them. There will be both passenger and freight trains running on all the layouts; bring the kids to see Thomas the Tank Engine run on the different layouts. There will be two HO scale layouts and one N scale layout at the church.
