ORANGEFIELD – The Orangefield Lady Bobcats throttled the Port Neches-Groves Lady Indians 72-48 at Bobcat Gym Friday.

The Lady Bobcats (5-4) jumped on the Lady Indians early with a 17-5 spurt in the first quarter and led 34-22 at the half and increased it to 53-35 by the third quarter.

Faith Fregia hot the hot hand for Orangefield as she filtered in 28 points to go along with six steals and three assists.

Harleigh Rawls had 10 points. Jacey Bourque contributed nine points, three assists and two boards while Madison Greenway had six points and six rebounds.

The Lady Bobcats will travel to Vidor Tuesday.

 

LC-M boys

BEAUMONT – The Kelly Bulldogs defeated the LC-M Bears 74-62 in hoop action at Bulldog Gym Friday.

Cole Freeman and Jackson Smith led the Bears with 11 points apiece.

The Bears will host Buna Monday.
