VIDOR – The City of Vidor will be hosting Christmas Cruise on Main Street Saturday, Dec. 14.

Main Street Market is free to all Chamber members. For non-Chamber members to participate it will be $25. As a participant you will need to light up your business with Christmas lights by Dec. 6. The only other item that requires action from the participant is to allow citizens to come by and have their passport stamped so that they can be entered into drawings for their participation between the hours of 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Dec. 14.

As a participant in this event, your business will be advertised in Chamber advertising both in print and online on the Chamber Facebook page to spread the word and get customers in your business. Deadline to enter is Dec. 6.

The Christmas Car Show and cruise event will be from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. To be a vendor call or email the Chamber by Dec. 9. All chamber members will get a discount for having a booth in the Candy Cane Lane Market located at the event.

The City Tree Lighting will take place in front of City Hall at 7 p.m. The Chamber is offering to its membership the opportunity for sponsorship of a decoration with recognition of their business to be displayed for $50.

There are also four different sponsorship that are being offered.

There is a Santa’s Elf sponsorship for $200. There is a Deck the Halls sponsorship for $300. There is a Santa’s Helper sponsorship for $1,000 and there is also a Santa sponsorship for $1,500.
