PRESS RELEASE — Hope everyone had a great weekend. Not too bad around here. My bride had a birthday Sunday and she had to put up with me all day.

Deputy Owens got a call of someone stealing property. The call came in from the property owner whose security camera alerted them. We got there in time to arrest the bad guy and recover the stolen property. Great job Quinton.

Received a call at my house about a Siamese cat that attacked a neighbor’s dog. They wanted me to come arrest the mean cat. No way Jose. No answer at the cat owners’ phone.

We have had 4 calls about people shooting guns near other people’s homes. Please be mindful of your neighbors. Remember you are responsible for everything that the bullet does after it leaves the barrel of your gun. Help us out.

Four deer were run over this past week. They will tear up the front end of a vehicle. Thank goodness nobody was hurt.

We had so many calls this week about husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends and boyfriends and boyfriends fighting. Most of these calls in front of children. Come on people, grow up and be adults.

Gotta go. We have a criminal trial starting this morning. Thought for the week: Teamwork is important, it helps to put the blame on someone else. Ya’ll have a great week and if we can help, just holler. God Bless.
